How to Make Money Selling Ebooks
If you are looking for ways to make money online or to
expand your existing home business, selling ebooks
could be just what you need. Selling ebooks is easy,
affordable and there are practically no expenses (other
than purchasing the ebooks). You might want to write
some of the ebooks yourself to save money and to help
spread the word about you and your business!
You can either purchase ebooks with or without resell
rights. I would recommend buying ebooks with resell
rights so your customers have an additional reason to
purchase from you. They can then sell the ebooks themselves!
There are several ways you can set up your new ebook
selling site or ebook store.
Sell on Ebay
You can auction off your ebooks on eBay. eBay has very
specific policies on selling ebooks so be SURE to read and
follow all their policies.
Offer Ebooks on Your Site
If you already have a site, you can easily offer the ebooks
on your existing site. Make a folder called ebooks (or
whatever you like) and upload it to your host. Upload
all your ebooks into this folder. Give them keyed names
so people will not be able to guess the file name.
For example: if you have an ebook called Ezine Publishing
and you call the file ezinepublishing.zip, this could make it
very easy for someone to "guess" the download link by the name
and download the ebook for free.
You want to code the names- for example:
instead of ezine publishing, you might name the file
ez-pub-32c.zip These coded names are nearly impossible
for people to guess so they are unable to steal the ebook.
Then add an index page where you would introduce your
ebook store to your visitors. Let them know there will be no
shipping cost as they are delivered electronically. Make
sure you introduce your ebook store on your site homepage
as well.
You might also want to list the categories on the index
page so your customers can click directly to the ebooks
they are interested in. Have a short description of
the ebook and a graphic (if possible). You can have a
whole page for each ebook or you can put several on a
page.
Go to Paypal and make up a button to put on your site
for ordering. If you do not like Paypal, use any payment
service you want.
**TIP - To avoid the time of making up each individual
button, use the code from the first button and just change
the necessary info like price, item name and code. This
will save you a lot of time in setting up your ebook store.
Automatic Digital Delivery
You can purchase a program for setting up your store and
having all purchases automatically delivered. This saves
you a lot of time plus gives your customers the items
immediately which helps with repeat sales.
One such program that does this very well is called The
Digital Store. Do a search for this or automatic digital
delivery ebooks and you will find a wide variety of
scripts/programs to suit your needs.
Be sure to continually add new ebooks for your existing
customers. We have had numerous repeat sales by doing
this. Also, you might want to have a mailing list to keep
people up to date of your new additions and any specials
or sales you may be having.
Affiliate Programs
You can also sell other people's ebooks by joining their
affiliate program. This means that for every ebook you sell,
you will get a commission from the ebook owner. If you write
your own ebook, you could also start your own affiliate
program. To find such programs just do a search for ebook
affiliate programs.
If you do purchase and/or write your own ebooks for resale,
be sure and choose/write the ebooks with a lot of useful,
helpful information and resources. There are a lot of ebooks
that are simply full of ads and sales letters for the writer's
products. You want to steer clear of these types of ebooks.
People love to buy and read good ebooks and if you offer
a good selection and price, they will continue to buy from you.

Toddler Bundle (Pooh Toddler, Mickey Toddler, and Book of Pooh)
Toddler Bundle (Pooh Toddler, Mickey Toddler, and Book of Pooh)
Disney's Toddler encourages kids to explore, discover and create while they learn about ABCs, 123s, colors, shapes, and more. See your little one develop important early learning skills while happilyinteracting with Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and other Disney friends. Children fundamental learning skills while fueling their creativity and imagination. Includes The Book of Pooh a Story without a Tail CD-ROM.
Customer Review: Seems like a good game
I bought this game at the same time that I bought the JumpStart Toddler game. My son will be 2 in a few months and I thought that he would enjoy the Disney characters. I think that when he gets a little older and his computer skills get a little better he will enjoy these games much more. The only one that we have tried is the Mickey Mouse one. My son got bored fairliy quickly because he needed much more help than he needs with the Jumpstart game. I think that this game would be better for older toddlers.
Customer Review: Fantastic, my first choice as a gift
This is a fantastic set! The favorite disc of the three is "The Book of Pooh," although the Mickey Mouse one is a close second. The activities are really fun, with great graphics and classic pooh-character humor and scripts. It was my daughter's first software at three, and now as a first grader she still loves it. My three-year-old son was able to teach himself the games and how to navigate the menus. He plays with it without needing any help. We loved it so much we give it to friends with toddlers, and when one of our discs was broken, we bought the whole set of three again.
Transformers (Two-Disc Special Edition) [HD DVD]
Transformers (Two-Disc Special Edition) [HD DVD]
"I bought a car. Turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?" deadpans Sam Witwicky, hero and human heart of Michael Bay's rollicking robot-smackdown fest, Transformers. Witwicky (the sweetly nerdy Shia LaBeouf, channeling a young John Cusack) is the perfect counterpoint to the nearly nonstop exhilarating action. The plot is simple: an alien civil war (the Autobots vs. the evil Decepticons) has spilled onto Earth, and young Sam is caught in the fray by his newly purchased souped-up Camaro. Which has a mind--and identity, as a noble-warrior robot named Bumblebee--of its own. The effects, especially the mind-blowing transformations of the robots into their earthly forms and back again, are stellar.
Fans of the earlier film and TV series will be thrilled at this cutting-edge incarnation, but this version should please all fans of high-adrenaline action. Director Bay gleefully salts the movie with homages to pop-culture touchstones like Raiders of the Lost Ark, King Kong, and the early technothriller WarGames. The actors, though clearly all supporting those kickass robots, are uniformly on-target, including the dashing Josh Duhamel as a U.S. Army sergeant fighting an enemy he never anticipated; Jon Voight, as a tough yet sympathetic Secretary of Defense in over his head; and John Turturro, whose special agent manages to be confidently unctuous, even stripped to his undies. But the film belongs to Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and the dastardly Megatron--and the wicked stunts they collide in all over the globe. Long live Transformers! --A.T. Hurley

Customer Review: Awesome Action for All Ages!
First, I should mention that I am a BIG fan of action films. However, I had no interest in seeing this movie when I heard it was in production. How could anything compare to the cartoon I watched as a kid? My fiance asked me to accompany him to the theatre when TRANSFORMERS opened, and I had a BLAST! This film brought back memories of my childhood and with all that's going on in the world right now, it felt good to be a kid again. The special effects are stunning and the sound is spectacular, but this film is special because it has great humor (for older kids and adults), very little foul language, and the best part of all: good triumphs over evil. I highly recommend it. Watch it with your kids and remember your childhood!
Customer Review: Who says only guys love this flick!
Talk about an awesome remake! I grew up on the cartoon, and this movie delivered cars (and trucks) transforming into robots. That being said, the rest of the movie did lack a some emotional connection. But hey, we didn't go to see the love story, we went to see Prime!

Sesame Street - Elmo's Potty Time
Sesame Street - Elmo's Potty Time
Potty training can be fun! Create a positive potty time experience for your child with Elmo, Baby Bear, Grover, and other Sesame Street friends with ELMO"S POTTY TIME! This amusing and song-filled DVD teaches children that everyone- mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, and even monsters- has to learn how to use the potty. Your child will learn that accidents are okay and that it takes time and practice before he can use the potty on his own. So dance, sing, and laugh as you and your child learn confidence-building skilled and helpful healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Customer Review: Elmo at age 3 would have made more sense...
I have two girls, 3 and almost 2, and they are both using the potty. They request this dvd occasionally when given a choice between all their Sesame Street and Elmo videos. I read some of the reviews and although after watching this many times I still have yet to see the scene with Elmo's Daddy without pants! For one reviewer this was a concern. But most of the time "monsters" do not wear any clothes so I am a bit confused on that one.
I gave this four stars because since I missed the whole Muppet babies era it would have made more sense to me to have Elmo using the potty at his current age, which I believe is roughly 3 or 3 1/2, rather than a "baby" Elmo. Also, I think Elmo should have been seen on the potty more often as I think that would have been a big motivator. For them to see their beloved Elmo using the potty too!
Overall the point is good and it is fun to watch. Having grown up with Sesame Street myself I have a renewed appreciation for the show.
Customer Review: Too slow and not enough like Elmo's World for the little ones
My son is 2. So having that out there, this review is geared towards parents of younger toddlers considering this DVD.
My son LOVES Elmo with a passion. I think "Mo Mo" was his first word and since then he's begun to say his ABC's and 123's. Elmo is engaging, reaches kids at their level and his show, Elmo's World, is short, quick, and has a certain layout that is comforting for littles. They like routine.
That being said, I thought this DVD would be great for my son once he started to show signs of wanting to potty train. I bought this and an Elmo Potty chair. Well we loved the potty chair but didn't like the DVD.
It's slow paced. Too slow for my son. And even too slow for me. I thought it was going to be laid out more like an Elmo's World episode but it's one continuous story broken up by older Sesame Street clips and segments that connect with the idea of learning something new but have nothing to do with potty training. Also, because it is a continuous story, there is a lot of dialogue by the human actors and that's when my little one gets up and confronts me, asking for Mo Mo and pointing at his Elmo's World DVDs.
In all, I would not recomment this to parents of a young toddler or a toddler who is very familiar with Elmo's World.

Customer Review: Comfort and Style

Sixteen Candles
Sixteen Candles
Molly Ringwald established herself as the teen queen of the '80s in this fresh comedy. The movie is a day in the life of Samantha, whose 16th birthday is turning out to be anything but sweet. All the traumas of teendom come down on one long day, which sees Samantha surrounded by dithery relatives, mooning over a high school hunk, and pursued by a sawed-off Lothario. Sixteen Candles marked the directing debut of John Hughes, and its goofy energy displayed a promising talent with a great ear for high school lingo ... a promise neglected since Hughes became, after Home Alone, a one-man entertainment industry. There are some pretty crass moments (Why the stereotype of the foreign-exchange student from Asia?), but Ringwald's steady appeal smoothes over the rough spots. As the pubescent, self-styled lady-killer, Anthony Michael Hall turns in a hilarious portrait of a young swinger; he and Ringwald would reteam with Hughes for The Breakfast Club, another key teen picture of the decade. --Robert Horton
Customer Review: Sweet 16
Molly Ringwald's best--plus an adorable geek and hunky hottie Jake with a Porsche! Every girl's sweet 16 dream! A must own 80s classic:)
Customer Review: 16 Candles
Everything was and is great. Product came on time. The quality is as expected, which is fine. Basicly, No Issues.

Customer Review: Love it!
Have had my Reader for about 3 months now and I really am happy with it. I have a friend who managed to get her hands on a Kindle so was able to compare the items. My Reader has a much "cleaner" design. No, you can't type on it but I wouldn't use that feature much anyway.
I DO have a problem with the Sony eBook store. I certainly hope they make it more reliable and user friendly - soon! But since these reviews are about the Reader I can truly say I am very happy with it. We travel a good deal and I don't have to decide which book I want to take along - I can "pack" lots! :D
Customer Review: Does not work with Apple Computers even if running Parallells
I had the earlier eReader 500, and it worked fine with my 2007 iMac I liked it so much I wanted to upgrade and give my old one to my daughter. Dealing with Sony was a nightmare. I was routed to a dozen foreign countries, and spent hours and HOURS with customer service, and their managers. NO RESOLVE< and nobody was able to tell me until I returned it that it won't work with my computer. After being promised free return shipping (I was to receive an email with instruction...it never came), I paid to return it to Sony. The product was fine, but I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER SONY PRODUCT.

As the pubescent, self-styled lady-killer, Anthony Michael Hall turns in a hilarious portrait of a young swinger; he and Ringwald would reteam with Hughes for The Breakfast Club, another key teen picture of the decade. --Robert Horton

BUY KINDLE!

This bug is really a new feature in SP1
Thu, 05 Jun 2008 20:36:13 -0700
Shawn, a co-worker in one of our Boston offices, was bitten today not by a bug but rather a new feature in Entourage 2008 SP1 (12.1.0). Every message he was receiving showed his correct E-mail address but the wrong display name. They looked something like this: instead of this: At first we thought possibly his Exchange account was incorrectly configured. A quick check of Active Directory showed everything was just fine. Maybe, someone had Shawn's correct E-mail address but had mistakenly
